1999  David was commissioned by the Lincoln County Tennessee Historical
Preservation Committee to do a painting, "Crossroads to Destiny”, depicting
a meeting between General Andrew Jackson, Sam Houston, Davy Crockett
and Dr John McKinney during the Tennessee Militia muster at Camp Blount
(Fayetteville, Tn) in 1813.

2000  "Forrest Comes Home" is a depiction of a Southern rally at the
boyhood home of Gen Nathan Bedford Forrest, a place he visited during the
war to hold recruitment barbecues.  The painting was commissioned by the
Southern Cross Chapter 2578 United Daughters of The Confederacy.  All
proceeds from the sale of the prints are donated to the Sons of Confederate
Veterans restoration of the Forrest boyhood home project.

2004 David was commissioned by The State of Virginia to paint "Martin's
Station".  Martin's Station is an authentic recreation of Joseph Martin's fort
built in 1775 and is located in the Wilderness Road State Park in Virginia.
Prints, Giclees, and posters are available thru the park.

2009  Bob Copner commissioned David to do the painting "Sprit of America"
from which prints and Giclees were produced as a fund raiser for The
National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association's  1 of 1000 Endowment program.
Both prints and Giclees can be bought thru the NMLRA.
