My name is Joe Wright and since 1977 I have been President
and owner of Gray Stone Press. Gray Stone was founded in
1973 and over the years has produced prints by over fifty of the
finest artists in the United States.
In 1995 the unexpected death of my biggest selling artist and
close friend, Chuck Ren, prompted me to start scaling back
Gray Stone's production. Although we produce only a fraction
of what we used to in a year, our commitment to excellence in
artwork has never changed.
In the following pages I will try to make this site a little different
by not only showing the artwork but relating to you stories about
some of the artists and in some cases, how a particular
painting came to be. I hope you find the following pages not
only informative but entertaining as well.
